| Removing and reinstalling the deck hardware is probably as time consuming than laying the teak deck itself. Especially on some boats of that generation when the decks were covered with winches, blocks, pad-eyes, clutches etc.. This is as well a good opportunity to renew some of the deck equipment as winches or hatches. |
